Zine Reviews

I review zines. If that’s what you want to read and you don’t want to see my occasional posts about other things, you should bookmark my Zines category (RSS).

My intention is to review every zine I own. This means reviewing new zines when I get my hands on them, and working back through my collection, too. This might take me a while, because I intend to take my time and say something meaningful about each zine. I don’t use a rating or scoring system, because I think that misses the point. Zines (unlike blogs) aren’t about instant gratification for their creators.

Submissions

As I said, I intend to review every zine I own. This means if you have a zine that you want to send me, I promise to review it. (I also promise that donated zines will go to the front of my reading queue.) I’m not fussy: new or old, any subject matter. I just want to see what people have been making.

All you need to do is email me to tell me what you want to send. I’ll get back to you with my mailing address. I’m in Australia so postage might be an issue, but I can usually help out with that.
